Forecast Discussion: Current conditions: High pressure is moving off the east coast this Thursday afternoon with winds shifting into the south and southwest. Light winds and limited mixing have brought fine particulate into the moderate range. Tonight will be mostly moonlit with another inversion setting up later on. *** Friday's forecast: Clouds will thicken up during the day Friday with a rain shower late in the day. Light flow and increasing moisture may keep fine particulate levels moderate once more. *** Extended forecast: Low pressure moving to our east will bring periods of rain to the area Saturday, and with colder air coming in Saturday night, precipitation will change over to snow, and last into Sunday morning. Windy and cold later Sunday with a snow shower or two. The next storm system will come at us later Monday into Tuesday with another mixed bag of precipitation possible. Air quality will be mainly in the good range Saturday into Monday.---McAuliffe
