Forecast Discussion: High pressure influences continue on Wednesday as temperatures climb in to the mid to upper 80s. Recirculation of modified air under sunny conditions will cause ozone to rise to the upper Moderate AQI range. Some areas could flirt with the USG threshold due to ozone Wednesday afternoon. Winds turn southwesterly on Thursday with temperatures touching near 90. Slightly stronger winds and some passing high-level clouds in the afternoon will keep ozone in check with Moderate air quality anticipated. On Friday, winds become west and northwesterly and temperatures will climb above 90F. Fairly persistent winds will likely keep ozone in check but most areas will see Moderate ozone air quality. -MDE
