Forecast Discussion: Current Conditions as of 2 PM on Tuesday: High pressure overhead has yielded mostly sunny skies with temperatures comfortably hovering around the 80 degree mark. Similar conditions will continue on Wednesday before a return of higher temperatures and increased humidity late week. *** Wednesday’s Forecast: High pressure will remain in control, allowing for another day of mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will climb into the low to mid-80s with a light southerly breeze. Dew point temperatures will also climb a few degrees, but conditions will remain comfortably dry for the day. Ozone concentrations will also remain at levels in the high end of the good range, but a few locations may see values sneak into the low moderate range late in the afternoon. *** Extended Outlook: Humidity levels will increase on Thursday as a disturbance approaches the region. After ample sunshine early in the week, enough cloud cover should develop to limit ozone formation. Even with increasing clouds, chances for precipitation around here will be limited to isolated showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain a few degrees above normal into the weekend with the higher humidity hanging around. Air quality conditions will remain at levels mostly in the higher end of the good range with some scattered moderate readings over this period. --- Roble
