Forecast Discussion: April 21 - Moderate levels of particulates are forecast for the urban areas of New Jersey due to an unsettled weather pattern of persistent recirculating winds, increased humidity, and chance of showers. April 22 - An unsettled weather pattern continues to impact the forecast region with chance of showers into the weekend. Average temperatures will return with the presence of mostly to partly cloudy skies. Good air quality is forecast to return state-wide. April 23 - Sunday's forecast remains slightly uncertain. A period of showers is expected to pass through on Sunday for the southern portions of New Jersey and high pressure is expected to influence the northern counties of the state which may lead to some drying conditions. Good air quality is forecast state-wide due to onshore winds. April 24 - The threat of showers persists into Monday due to a low pressure system in the south lifting to the northeast. Wet conditions are forecast in the morning with clearing anticipated for the later afternoon. Cloud cover in the morning and clean northeasterly winds will keep air quality in the good category.
