Forecast Discussion: The Upstate region is currently trending toward code yellow on this Tuesday while all other regions are currently trending toward code green. For Wednesday, atmospheric moisture content will increase slightly to help limit ozone production, but skies will be relatively clear to help encourage production. Winds will be the main factor in the forecast as they are slated to increase to around 10 mph for all regions and shift to a more west/southwesterly flow. This will help to disperse pollutants around the more urban areas and will likely help decrease overall concentrations. Therefore, the Upstate will likely remain CODE YELLOW while all other regions should be CODE GREEN.
