Forecast Discussion: Ozone readings are trending in the GREEN category on this Monday afternoon. Broad high pressure across the Ohio Valley will continue to keep winds persistent from a NE and E'ly direction across the state. Weatherwise, what you see today is likely what you'll experience again tomorrow. A couple of low pressure systems near the coast will keep skies partly sunny within the southeastern half of the state, but mostly sunny skies are anticipated elsewhere across the more interior portions of the state. Expect ozone levels to inch higher into the GREEN category in Upstate and Catawba (but fall just short of yellow), while other zones remain easily within the GREEN category.
