Forecast Discussion: FORECAST SUMMARY: Monday, December 9th, 2019 through Monday, December 16th, 2019 PM-2.5: 24-hour average Fine Particulate concentrations will be mostly Good with a few Moderates later in the forecast week. FORECAST DISCUSSION Following a cold front, Monday night, west to northwest winds will usher in cold, clean air providing Good Air Quality through mid-week. As high pressure migrates eastward on Thursday, winds will become more south-southeast which could lead to some Low Moderates at the end of the work week. Another frontal system is expected to pass during Saturday which would lead to another cleanout of the atmosphere. Fortunately, no big winter storms or Air Quality issues are expected through this forecast period. EXTENDED FORECAST: Air Quality should be mostly Good going into the next work week.
