Forecast Discussion: The hot and humid air mass will remain in place this week. Tuesday will have the best chance of rain for the week, as an upper level wave will provide a chance of rain and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon hours. Once the wave moves east on Tuesday night, high pressure will take control for the rest of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will continue to be humid, lowering the ozone potential but increasing the PM2.5 potential. By Friday, dew point and relative humidity values will decrease, which will increase the ozone potential while decreasing the PM2.5 potential.
