Forecast Discussion: A cut-off upper level low pressure system will slowly drift over the Ohio and Tennessee River Valleys through the end of the work week. This weather feature will promote a multi-day stretch of unsettled weather for the State of Delaware, beginning on Wednesday. Skies will be partly cloudy to start the day and clouds will increase as the afternoon progresses, with scattered showers increasing in intensity by the evening. In addition, surface winds will shift easterly (onshore) and become breezy in the afternoon. All of these factors will keep ozone and particles in the Good range. **Extended Forecast: Thursday and Friday will be overcast, blustery, and rainy due to the influence of the upper level low. Periods of heavy rain are possible on Thursday. Ozone and particles will drop down to the low end of the Good range. -Huff
