Forecast Discussion: Ground-level ozone is trending toward peaks in the code GREEN range on this Sunday afternoon. On Monday, high pressure to our north and an area of low pressure just offshore will continue to force NE'ly flow over SC. This will help to reduce ozone concentrations over eastern sections of the state, but increases in ozone production are expected in drier air over the Upstate. Thus, look for code YELLOW conditions in the Upstate with code GREEN conditions elsewhere on Monday.
