Forecast Discussion: Mostly sunny skies and stagnant winds on Sunday will allow ozone to quickly climb to the top of the Moderate range across much of Maryland. Low regional pollutant concentrations should keep ozone out of the Code Orange range. Another pulse of Canadian wildfire smoke is expected to make its way into the state, for continued Moderate particle air quality. Increasing clouds and scattered showers on Monday will return ozone to the Good range, while particles will linger in the Moderate range. Southwesterly winds on Tuesday and some breaks in the clouds will allow ozone to rebound into the Moderate range, while particles will drop to the low end of the Moderate range. - MDE/PSAQFO
