Forecast Discussion: Friday, partly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms will limit ozone formation across Louisiana, and light to moderate southeasterly winds will help to disperse pollutants. These conditions will result in Good AQI levels statewide. Saturday and Sunday, as a low-pressure system moves through Louisiana, widespread thunderstorms will keep the atmosphere well mixed, and mostly cloudy skies will inhibit ozone production. Therefore, AQI levels will be Good across the state on both days.
