Forecast Discussion: Ozone was good yesterday and PM2.5 is mixed good / moderate amidst the fog this morning. A broad 500 mb trough will continue over the Great Lakes for the next several day sandwiched between ridges over the Pacific Northwest and the eastern Atlantic. However, this pattern will lead to light winds during the day and calm nights. A mid-level trough will pivot through the region bringing some thundershowers Friday and Saturday. Sunday that feature will move off and the ridges will move closer and bring some clearing. Winds will be light but generally northerly for the next four days. Temperatures will remain near 80 central to the mid-80’s south for the weekend increasing slightly on Monday.
