Forecast Discussion: A cold front moving through the area this Thursday afternoon is resulting in plenty of clouds which are keeping ozone levels in check. Low concentrations are expected to continue in spite of full sun on Friday as a cleaner air mass works it's way in. Lighter winds will bring a little higher ozone for Saturday, but concentrations will remain in the upper good range. There is also a chance for an afternoon or evening thunderstorm Saturday, but activity will be scattered in nature. The best chance for moderate ozone levels will not come until Monday, as winds turn out of the southwest, and the air stagnates a bit. Better air quality should come by late Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.---McAuliffe
