Forecast Discussion: Air quality forecast northern Indiana issued Thursday, July 2, 2015 for Friday, July 3 - Saturday, July 4. One more day of good air quality for ozone and fine particulates (PM2.5) before ozone and PM2.5 levels begin to increase by Saturday. Light wind speeds and mostly sunny conditions the next three days will produce higher concentrations of ozone and PM2.5. Expect moderate levels of ozone and PM2.5 by Saturday for the northwest and the north central Indiana regions. The next air quality forecast update will be on Saturday with the potential for an air quality action day on Sunday for ozone and an Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) ozone forecast. Air quality forecast provided by IDEM, Office of Air Quality.
