Forecast Discussion: Air quality forecast northern Indiana issued Friday, January 30, 2015 for Saturday, January 31 - Monday, February 2. A surface low pressure and upper level energy develop across the Southwestern U.S. and Southern Plains and merges with some energy over South Dakota and Nebraska on Saturday/early Sunday as the low tracks northeastward through the Ohio Valley during the day Sunday bringing snow to northern Indiana. Snow amounts up to 8 inches expected across northern Indiana with all locations receiving at least 3 to 5 inches of snow by early Monday morning. Much colder air will then invade northern Indiana for early next week with good air quality by Monday. The next air quality forecast update will be on Monday.
