Forecast Discussion: Air quality forecast northern Indiana issued Monday, July 21, 2014 for Tuesday, July 22 - Thursday, July 24. Expect a continuation of moderate air quality for ozone and fine particulates (PM2.5) on Tuesday for the north central and the northeast Indiana regions despite very warm temperatures as high temperatures reach the upper 80s to 90 degrees. A cold front approaches northern Indiana from the northwest on Wednesday morning and will move through all of northern Indiana by Wednesday afternoon. Once the cold front passes through a given location air quality for both ozone and PM2.5 will be in the good range. Expect the good air quality to continue through Thursday for the north central and the northeast Indiana regions. The next air quality forecast update will be on Thursday.
