Forecast Discussion: The Upstate region is heading for code yellow on this Monday, while all other regions are trending toward code green. For Tuesday, a similar scenario is expected in terms of weather patterns. A warm, semi-moist atmosphere with relatively light winds will give decent conditions for ozone formation. The front that has been nearly stationary around the coast will begin to dissipate as the day progresses, taking with it the chance for precipitation. This will give way to mostly sunny skies. After all is said and done, Upstate, Midlands, and Central Savannah will likely be CODE YELLOW while all other regions should remain CODE GREEN.
