Forecast Discussion: All zones should finish at CODE GREEN for ground-level ozone this Friday afternoon. We should continue to see clean, maritime air infiltrating the Palmetto State from the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday, helping to suppress ozone development. The upper-level ridge over the eastern part of the country should weaken and lift northeastward, slightly increasing our chance for convection across the state in the afternoon hours. Thus, all zones should remain at CODE GREEN on Saturday.
