Forecast Discussion: Thursday, moderate northerly winds behind a departing low-pressure system will keep pollutants well dispersed in the Leech Lake Reservation, resulting in Good AQI levels. Friday and Saturday, surface high pressure over the Great Lakes region will generate light to moderate south-southeasterly winds in the Leech Lake Reservation, gradually transporting some regional pollutants into the area. However, low pollutant carryover from day to day will lead to continued Good AQI levels on both days.
