Forecast Discussion: A cold front coming through the area tonight with showers and a thunderstorm will usher in a cleaner air mass for the late week period. Drier air moving in for Thursday will act to lower ozone concentrations to the upper good range. Good air quality is expected to continue on Friday with plenty of sunshine and dry air in the lower levels of the atmosphere. A couple of showers are possible again on Saturday with a weak cold front passing through. Upper good levels of ozone will occur. The next chance for a deterioration into the moderate zone will occur by Monday with warm and humid air streaming northward out ahead of the next cold front, which will bring in cooler and drier air for the middle of next week.---McAuliffe
