Forecast Discussion: Air quality forecast for northern Indiana issued April 24, 2015, for April 25 thru April 27, 2015. A low pressure system and associated fronts will impact the area on Saturday, bringing a good chance for rain at some point. Winds will be out of the east at 15 mph or more, with gust to 30 mph. Temperatures will remain in the mid 40’s throughout the day, so expect good air quality. Sunday dries out, with winds remaining rather strong out of the north, at around 15 mph, gusting to 20 mph. Near Lake Michigan, temperatures will remain cool, reaching the upper 40’s, while away from the lake, temperatures will reach the upper 50’s. Expect another good day for air quality.
