Forecast Discussion: Thursday will be warm and humid, with mostly cloudy skies. A slow-moving frontal boundary will stall west of Delaware and trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms across the state. The greatest chance for precipitation will occur overnight into Friday morning. Cloud cover will limit ozone to the Good range. Despite the humid conditions, regional particle concentrations have been kept in check for the past several days by light onshore winds. Onshore flow will persist on Thursday, which should once again keep particles in the Good range. **Extended Forecast: Unsettled weather will continue on Friday, with mostly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and light onshore flow for another day of Good air quality. Skies will begin to clear on Saturday as surface high pressure from Canada pushes down into the Mid-Atlantic region. It will be cooler and less humid, with sustained onshore winds that will extend the period of Good air quality. -Huff
