Forecast Discussion: High pressure will build in on Friday, promoting sunny skies and light winds. The arrival of a dry and seasonably cool air mass will keep temperatures and dew points at comfortable levels. Particle concentrations will be limited to the Good range. Light to variable surface winds and full afternoon sun will allow ozone to rebound from Thursday’s low values, but ozone will remain inside the Good range. **Extended Forecast: A warm front will travel northward and pass through Delaware on Saturday, triggering scattered clouds and a slight chance for late afternoon rain showers. Temperatures and humidity will rise with the passage of the warm front. Winds will pick up in the afternoon, but early morning stagnation, partly sunny skies, and recirculation of air aloft will allow air quality to rise into the Moderate range. A cold front will approach from the west on Sunday and will result in scattered precipitation and mostly cloudy skies. Ozone will be reduced to the Good range, while particles will remain in the Moderate range due to westerly flow aloft and increased levels of atmospheric moisture. -Catena/Huff/Herdt
