Forecast Discussion: The Upstate zone may reach Code Yellow, while all other zones should remain at Code Green for ground-level ozone this Friday afternoon. The surface high pressure system that has given us dry, pleasant weather across the Palmetto State today should continue to influence our weather on Saturday with mostly sunny skies. Winds should be light and veer to the east as the surface high moves offshore of the East Coast to our north. The light winds and dry conditions should elevate ozone production across the state and the Upstate and CSRA zones have been given a Code Yellow forecast. All other zones should be at the high end of Code Green for Saturday.
