Forecast Discussion: A weak trough persists along the Coastal Plain of the Carolinas, and column moisture remains abundant on this Monday afternoon. As a result, all zones should remain within the GREEN category today. The atmosphere changes very little on Tuesday. Weak trough will persist along the coast and weak high pressure should persist over Georgia. Ground level ozone readings should creep a little higher due to a few less clouds and a few less showers around, but low level moisture should remain abundant overall. Thus, ground level ozone concentrations are expected to remain within CODE GREEN criteria statewide again on Tuesday.
